Taken From Report’s Foreword

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to  all of JICA and program organizers and staff both in Indonesia and in Japan (Prof. Hiranaka Eiji, Ms. Widi, Mr. Inoue,  Mr. Masatoyo Kubo, Ms. Ono Yasuko) and all the staff and lecturer both in Kitakyushu and Saga (Mr. Mitsutake – Saga International Office).  The training preparation and all the introduction to Japan classes was excellent in taking us into deeper understanding of Japan, its people, economy, culture, and educational system. The visit to the Kokura High School and the Ikebana course was a memorable experience. The facility in JICA center in Kitakyushu is excellent in making us closer to other participants, such as the sport center and audio room for karaoke.

Especially to Prof. Kohei Arai and all the professors and lecturer which have provided us with the material, we would also like to express our great appreciation. The site visit to the companies was very useful in giving us insight and motivation to make our own system at home works better and more efficient. Facilities at Saga Netcom, NIME, Yokohama National University, Kitakyushu NICT and JGN were some of the most inspiring place in which we learn about the implementation of the theory and advancement of the Internet application in higher education and research.

This 4 weeks program can be concluded as a wonderful experience of the mixture of the Japanese culture of handwork and persistence to deliver the best in every aspect of the work and the notion of innovation. Once again we would like to thank the hospitality of everybody related to this program, which had made our program a wonderful experience. We wish the motto of JICA “For the better future for all” can be turn into reality by the foundation of friendship and understanding among all parties which has been established during this 4 weeks training. Last but not least once again we appreciate the hospitality of  the Saga University and Saga Prefectural Government for hosting us during this training.
